Full Stack Engineer

Overview

A full stack engineer will take end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Our ideal candidate has experience building products across stacks and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back end languages. The engineer will have the ability to define a scalable infrastructure to fit the needs of our clients. They should be capable of working effectively in a team environment and have a generally positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with one or more backend technologies such as: Java, C#
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Experience developing complex and well performing user interfaces using frameworks like AngularJs
  • Experience with docker and Kubernetes for cloud deployment
  • Experience with cloud providers such as GCP or AWS
  • Experience in building consumer facing Single Page Applications in Javascript ES6+, HTML
  • Understand browser API limitations for certain features
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, developers and designers
  • Knowledge in responsive web design
  • Proficient knowledge in git and Github for SCM

iOS Engineer

Overview

 

The iOS Engineer will develop and maintain mobile applications targeted at multiple iOS versions and devices while employing best practices for creating beautiful and performant apps. In addition, code should follow best practices for programming in a team environment with an emphasis on code clarity and maintainability. The engineer will interact with various product owners including internal departments and directly with external clients. The engineer may be asked to lead technical development on some projects, and follow technical lead on others.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Expertise in Swift development (3+ years)
  • Familiarity with Objective-C
  • Solid iOS development experience (5+ years, with published apps)
  • Solid iOS UI experience
  • Experience working with web services and RESTful APIs
  • Experience writing software for multi-threaded, resource-constrained devices
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently stay up-to-date with the rapidly changing mobile development landscape
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with other mobile platforms is a plus
